Who did what. Company work. Product modules below describe what MAARG is building as a company, not individual contributions.
Overview
I co-founded MAARG Technologies in September 2026. It is an Indian company building AI and hardware systems for public infrastructure. Its first product, MAARG Intelligence, is a smart traffic platform that brings signals, cameras, sensors, message boards and operators onto one system.
Why it exists
Indian junctions are still mostly run on fixed signal plans that don't respond to what is actually happening on the road. Emergency vehicles wait at red lights, incidents are found late, and the data from cameras and detectors rarely reaches a decision in time. Maarg means path; the company is built around making the road respond as things happen, not months later.
My part
- Co-founded the company and work on its direction across AI, edge hardware and the operations platform.
- MAARG's stated approach, which I help shape: measurable progress, safety before speed, and never calling a prototype a product.
How it works
- a
Sense
Cameras, loop and radar detectors, edge devices, signal controllers and variable message signs.
- b
Understand
Detection and multi-object tracking trained and tested on local conditions, with event recognition.
- c
Decide
Demand-responsive adaptive timing with corridor coordination, tested in simulation before it goes near a live junction.
- d
Act
Retimed signals, emergency green corridors, and violations flagged as evidence for an officer to review.
- e
Inform
Congestion, diversions and road conditions published to message signs, apps and navigation providers.
MAARG Intelligence

One smart traffic platform for signals, cameras, sensors, message boards and operators. The six modules below are MAARG's product as described on its site, company capabilities in development, not individual claims.
- 1Adaptive Signal ControlRetimes signals continuously from live demand and coordinates them along corridors.
- 2Emergency Green CorridorReserves a route for an ambulance or fire engine and turns junctions green ahead of it.
- 3Incident & Congestion DetectionSpots slow traffic, queues and incidents so operators can respond and divert.
- 4Commuter InformationPublishes congestion, diversions, parking and road conditions to signs, apps and navigation.
- 5Enforcement SupportFlags violations as evidence for an officer to review. Humans make the final call.
- 6Command & ControlOne platform for traffic command centres, with data-centre and disaster-recovery support.

Stated limits
Camera detection is affected by lighting, weather, occlusion and placement; enforcement can be wrong.
